Planning your Dubai trip

Season matters more than most destinations

The gap between a January visit and a July one is large in Dubai — not only in temperature but in how busy the beaches, restaurants and hotels are. Shifting dates by a few weeks around the shoulder months often changes what the search returns.

Direct or connecting

Dubai is served directly from most European and Asian cities, but connecting itineraries through other Gulf hubs sometimes come in lower. Compare both on the same dates.

Frequently asked questions

Which airport should I fly into for Dubai?

Dubai International (DXB) sits close to the city and carries the vast majority of flights. Al Maktoum (DWC) handles some low-cost services and is further out, while Sharjah (SHJ) and Abu Dhabi (AUH) can work if you are happy with a longer transfer.

When is the best time to fly to Dubai?

November to March brings the most comfortable weather, and demand rises with it. The summer months are far hotter and generally quieter, which is reflected in both airfares and hotel rates.

Can I use Dubai as a stopover?

Yes. Dubai is one of the world's largest connecting hubs, so a stopover of a night or two on the way to Asia, Africa or Australia is often possible without a large fare increase. Compare the through-fare against two separate trips.

Who handles my Dubai flight booking?

The airline or travel partner you are redirected to. Sky Seeker only compares what they publish — payments, changes, cancellations and support all sit with the provider.
